Officeworks EOFY
Objective: Officeworks had something really singular and ownable to say about the End of Financial Year – Every single item at Officeworks could be tax deductible. No asterisks or exceptions. So we thought it’d be fun to consider what would happen if someone actually did buy every single item. Then asked for a receipt so they could claim it. That receipt would take 8 ½ hours to print. So that’s what we set out to film.
Outcome: A mini-series of films that are absurdly unrealistic yet intriguingly human.
Channels: TV, Meta/Tiktok, YouTube and in-store.
Results:
Officeworks had their 3rd biggest trading day in history on June 30th.
The last week of June was the biggest sales week ever for B2B customers.
Every key category had YoY growth:
Tech +7.4%
Furniture +6.7%
SAE +10.57%
Print and copy +9.71%
Total sales +7.04%
The Meta creative alone generated $4.4m in revenue with a ROAS of $68.32 (11% more effective than benchmark)
